MIDLAND -- A strong cold front pushed its way through the Permian Basin on Thursday.

The cold front moved through the Midland-Odessa area on Thursday morning, bringing a line of clouds and gusty winds with it.

The high temperatures in Midland and Odessa have approached or exceeded 90 degrees in front of the cold front, but highs in the 50s are expected behind it.

In fact, low temperatures in the 30's could be seen in parts of West Texas through the weekend.
