U.S. Border Patrol Agent Dies On The Job In Brewster County

BREWSTER COUNTY -- A United States Border Patrol Agent has died while on the job.

    The Brewster County Sheriff's Office is reporting that Agent David Richard Delaney passed away while working in southern Brewster County Friday.
   
    The circumstances surrounding Delaney's death were uncertain Friday.

    U.S. Border Patrol officials in the Big Bend Sector have reportedly launcjed an investigation into the cause of Delaney's death.

    The Big Bend Sentinel reports that Delaney, 44, was assigned to the Big Bend Sector.

    Delaney had served in the U.S. Border Patrol for 10 years before his death.
