ODESSA -- The West Texas Food Bank is getting help from H.E.B. to address the growing need for food over the holidays.

Thursday, H.E.B. delivered a truckload of cornflakes to the West Texas Food Bank in Odessa.

H.E.B says the donation will provide about 180,000 bowls of nutritious breakfast cereal and is worth about $20,000.

This week, H.E.B. is delivering 16 trailer loads of corn flakes to food banks across the state of Texas. It's all is part of the annual H.E.B. Food Bank Assistance program, which donated roughly 26-million pounds of food in Texas and Mexico last year.
