A Dense Fog Advisory is in place until 10:00 AM CST.
At that time, the fog should begin burning off and we will see the fog give way to sunny conditions, with plenty of sunshine and a southwesterly breeze this afternoon.
Temperatures should soar to near 80 degrees this afternoon, with the official high at Midland International Airport expected to be around 78 degrees.
We will be even warmer tomorrow with temperatures expected to reach 80 degrees in many locations.
That trend will continue Sunday and Monday with the southwesterly breezes still in place with plenty of sunshine.
After that, a cold front is set to move through the area and bring more seasonable weather to the Permian Basin.
Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 60's Tuesday and Wednesday, with winds shifting back to the south Wednesday.
Thursday, we look to jump back into the 70's under sunny skies.
