Armed Robbers Hit Carlsbad (NM) Family Dollar Store

CARLSBAD, NM -- Carlsbad (NM) Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Family Dollar store.

    Officers say that two armed men went into the Family Dollar at 901 West Mermod Street around 9:15 PM on December 2nd and forced two employees and two customers into the restroom.

    The robbers reportedly took an undisclosed amount of cash and ran away.

    Police say that the robbers are 5'9" tall and they weigh between 190 and 210 pounds.

    One robber was described as a white man with blue eves.

    Officers say that one robber was wearing a black hooded sweater, while the other one was wearing a blue sweater.
