Burn Ban Back In Winkler County

KERMIT -- Dry conditions have led to the reinstatement of a burn ban in one West Texas county.
Winkler County commissioners brought back the county's burn ban during Monday's commissioner's court meeting.
Commissioners also put out an order banning skyrockets with sticks and missiles with fins in unincorporated parts of the county.
The ban could have an impact on those who plan on shooting off fireworks for New Year's Eve.
According to the Texas A&M Forest Service, a number of other West Texas counties are also under a burn ban.
