By: Matthew Farrell
Updated: December 31, 2012
Tonight, we will see temperatures in the mid to lower 30's in time for any New Year's Eve celebrations.

Overnight lows will fall into the 20's in the northern Permian Basin to the lower 30's across the southern part of the region.

Tomorrow, winds will be calm behind a cold front that will drop our highs about 10-15 degrees.

The front will move through in the early afternoon, and those winds wills shift to the north.

Behind the front, highs will be in the mid to upper 40's and as high as the mid 50's in our southern counties and the Trans-Pecos.

Temperatures will stay in that range through Friday, but this weekend we will see a warm up bring us near 60 degrees across the area, and above 60 for Monday.

Happy New Year, everyone!
