UPDATE -- 11:00am: All of Interstate 10 and all of Interstate 20 are open again in West Texas. Traffic can resume west of Fort Stockton and west of Monahans.

Snow plows and other TxDOT crews will still be working in the area. Please give TxDOT crews plenty of room to work. Please drive to conditions and avoid driving if at all possible.

Watch for ice and snow.
Motorists should avoid driving if they have a choice.
ORIGINAL STORY: The snow fall is forcing The Texas Department of Transportation (Tx-DOT) to close some major roads.

Tx-DOT released Thursday night: "Interstate 10 is closed west of Fort Stockton. Interstate 20 is closed west of Monahans. I-10 won't open again until morning at earliest."

Monitor current road conditions here -- through Tx-DOT.
