Outspoken Republican New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has talked about it before, but says he's more ready than ever to make a run for the White House.

He considered getting into the 2012 race and was courted by donors, but his aspirations stopped short of an actual bid and he threw his support behind Mitt Romney.

When asked about running in 2016, Christie told the Star-Ledger, "You're damn right I'd be more ready."

Christie's approval ratings have soared in New Jersey in the wake of Superstorm Sandy.

He is up for re-election this year and he told the Star-Ledger he aims to win big.
