Official Says Beyonce Did Lip Synch

An official who asked not to be identified told C-N-N pop star Beyonce did indeed lip-sync her performance on Inauguration Day.

Beyonce apparently arrived late the night before Monday's performance so did not have time to rehearse the National Anthem with the U-S Marine Band.

According to the official, Beyonce made the decision herself that same night to use the pre-recorded version of the song, instead of sing it live.

Beyonce has yet to comment on the fallout from the performance.
