MIDLAND -- One person is killed in a crash in far southwestern Midland County.

The crash happened around 6:45 PM at the intersection of F.M. 1492 and F.M. 1787, near the border of Midland, Ector and Crane Counties.

An 18-wheeler and a 4-door Ford F-150 pickup truck collided at the intersection.

One person in the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene.

The name of the person killed in that crash hasn't been released.

Few details about the crash were available at 7:40 PM Wednesday, but Big 2's crews on the scene say that the pickup truck rolled over.

The 18-wheeler reportedly suffered minimal damage in the crash.
