Lubbock Bank Robber Could Have Permian Basin Ties

LUBBOCK -- Lubbock Police are looking for a bank robber who could possibly be from the Permian Basin.

    Police say a man went into the Alliance Federal Credit Union branch at 66th Street and Indiana Avenue on Thursday and gave a teller a note that demanded money.

    The teller then handed over an undisclosed amount of money money from the register, and the robber took off

    No one was injured in the incident, and the robber didn't display a weapon.

    Lubbock Police believe that the robber was from outside of the Lubbock area -- although they haven't said where they believe the robber is from.

    Officers say that the robber is a white man with brown or sandy blonde hair.

    The robber is reportedly between 5'10" and 6' tall, and he reportedly weighs between 200 and 215 pounds.

    Officers say that the robber was wearing blue jeans, a black jacket, a black beanie and sunglasses at the time of the robbery.

    The robber also reportedly took off in a smaller-sized white 4-door S.U.V.
