Alleged Midland-Odessa Ecstasy Distibutor Waives Detention Hearing

Ifrica Jali Norman was supposed to appear in federal court in Midland on Friday morning for a detention hearing on ecstasy distribution charges.
However, Norman waived the hearing.
Federal investigators say that a Midlander paid Norman $3,500 to buy a 1,000 ecstasy pills in Los Angeles, CA and ship them back to the Tall City.
Norman reportedly purchased 1,500 pills of ecstasy, including 500 pills for herself.
Norman then reportedly shipped 1,000 pills to an address in Midland, and she allegedly the 500 pills he purchased for herself to an address in Odessa.
A United States postal inspector found out about the shipment, and alerted the Drug Enforcement Administration.
The postal inspector then reportedly went undercover while delivering the pills that Norman shipped to a home in Odessa.
Moments after the shipment was delivered, Drug Enforcement Administration agents and Ector County Sheriff's deputies executed a search warrant on the home.
Law enforcement found the drugs and arrested Norman.
Now, Norman is charged with conspiracy to distribute ecstasy and distribution of ecstasy.
Norman isn't listed for future appearances on the court docket in Midland Federal Court at this time.
