Spring Break Gets Underway Across Texas

MIDLAND -- Spring Break kicked off for many students across Texas on Friday.

    Midland I.S.D. and Ector County I.S.D. will be closed next week, and colleges are also letting their students get a week-long break.

    While students are getting ready for a time of fun and relaxation, the Texas Department of Public Safety will have extra patrols on the road.

    Troopers will be looking for drunk drivers, speeders and people not wearing their seat belts.
