Rain will make its return to the basin the second half of this week. An approaching low pressure system from the Pacific is on its way and will bring several chances for rain. Wednesday the rain will be mainly secluded to the western counties. With these storms expect large hail and heavy downpours. Thursday the rain will be a bit more widespread with everyone getting in on the action. Some of Thursday's storms will be strong to severe with large hail, damaging winds and frequent lightning as well as flash flooding. Things should start to dry out Friday but our eastern counties could still see a few storms early Friday. By the weekend expect much more sunshine and temps back in the lower 80's!
