Larry White is accused of killing officers Arlie Lee Jones Jr., Scott Garner and Abel Marquez during a domestic dispute in 2007. But White has been battling cancer, and there are questions surrounding his health -- and if he's healthy enough to stand trial. One nurse who took the stand Wednesday said White has refused to take pain medication when it gets close to his court dates. Doctors said that White's cancer continues to spread, and its hard for him to focus.
Despite all the testimony, another continuance was issued in the trial. White is set to undergo a health procedure next week, and his progress will be monitored after that.
White's trial will be held in Big Spring because of extensive media coverage. A new hearing date has not been set.
