ODESSA --  An Odessa man who ran away from the Ector County Courthouse while handcuffed earlier this month has been arrested on new charges.

Ryan Drod Thompson was arrested Friday night in the 2100 block of East 9th Street. Odessa Police say they saw Thompson selling drugs on that block around 7 PM Friday. They pulled over his vehicle and found cocaine and ecstasy on him.

Now, Thompson's charged with delivery of ecstasy and tampering with evidence for that incident. He also has previous marijuana and escape charges.

Thompson was arrested for the possession of marijuana charge at the Ector County Courthouse on March 9th. But he took off out of the building in his handcuffs, losing a shoe in the process. He was caught March 10th in a parking lot near Interstate 20 and Grandview, but he bonded out of jail days later.

    Now, Thompson's bond is $73,000.
