Unemployment Down In Texas, Midland Still Lowest

AUSTIN --  The latest jobless numbers are in for Texas -- and Midland still has the lowest unemployment in the Lone Star State.

    Texas added 22,000 jobs in February. That means the State has a 250,000 jobs more than it did last year.

    As for unemployment, the state was at 8.2 percent in February, still below the U.S. rate. Midland has the best unemployment in the state, at 4.8 percent.
