ODESSA --  An Odessa man is still in the hospital after he crashed his pickup into a traffic light pole Thursday evening.

Timoteo Holguin, 51, is in fair condition at Medical Center Hospital. Holguin smashed his Ford F-150 into a Jeep Wrangler around 5 PM Friday  on 42nd Street. The two vehicles got stuck together for a short while as they headed west near West County Road. When they got into the intersection, the F-150 broke off from the Wrangler. The pickup smashed into two utility poles before hitting a pole that supported a traffic light head-on.

Holguin was taken to the hospital after the crash.

Meanwhile, one of the traffic lights Holguin hit fell off and another was left dangling. The city says that light is working and safe, but they're waiting for the traffic engineer to fix it. That engineer is out of town at this time.
