ODESSA -- Two Odessans involved in a fatal shooting incident have been indicted for stealing copper wire.

Tonya Lynn Whitehead and David Alan Whitehead were indicted on several counts of theft of copper wire Monday. The Whiteheads were arrested on February 18th, after Roberto Gomez caught them trying to break into his truck with a third suspect.

Gomez shot and killed that third suspect -- Rodney Burns -- as the three were trying to flee the scene. Gomez has not been charged for the incident.
