Water Restrictions Cause Confusion In Permian Basin

ODESSA -- Water restrictions are in full swing, but there is still some confusion surrounding the new procedures.
Different cities are getting a lot of calls from people, worried about specifics. For Midland, Odessa, Big Spring, and Snyder, houses with addresses ending in an odd number are allowed to water on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Even numbered houses are allowed to water on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Residents need to water overnight -- starting at 6 PM on their assigned day and ending by 10 AM the following day.That means if Sunday is your day, you can water anytime from 6 PM Sunday until 10 AM Monday.
Also, residents who have their own well can water as often as they'd like.
