HOBBS -- Two suspects in a weekend murder in Hobbs have turned themselves in to police.

Elgin Vine turned himself in this Tuesday morning. After police put out an arrest warrant for him Monday night. Vine, 32, is charged with murder for the shooting death of 34-year-old Fashon Fields.

According to an arrest affidavit, Vine and 31-year-old Lisa Padilla showed up at the home of Fields in the 1400 block of Hannah on Sunday afternoon. Vine allegedly shot at the front door of the home twice, opened the door and shot Fields in the head.

Now, Vine is behind bars. He's being held on $1 million bond.

Padilla also turned herself in Tuesday morning for questioning. She has not been charged.
