Defendants In Double Murder Won't Face Death Penalty

Armando Sauceda, Francisco Sauceda, Armando Sauceda Jr., Auden Sauceda, and Moises Marquez are all accused of shooting Steven Soto and Jose "Chico" Gardea in 2009. Police say it was an intentional ambush, . But the defendants won't face the death penalty when they go to trial.
All 5 defendants were arraigned Monday. The case is slated to take place in Midland in September.
