Still hot today, this time with more wind! Expect gusts up to 45 mph across the Basin with up to 70 mph gusts likely in the Guadalupe Pass. Red Flag Warnings have been issued area-wide due to the extremely high fire danger so be responsible today and do not do ANYTHING that could potentially cause a spark. Tonight the winds will relax leading to a very pleasant Friday as temps stay near 90 but our next cold front will be here Saturday. This will be a stronger cold front dropping temps about 20 degrees from saturday (mid-90's) to Sunday (mid-70's) as well as bringing more wind! Saturday could have gusts up to 35 mph, sunday winds could gusts up to 50 mph. The only relief in sight would be a brief shower along the cold front Saturday night but chances for that are very low and spotty at best.
