ANDREWS COUNTY -- A large fire is mostly contained in Andrews County, after it burned late into the night Wednesday.

The Sandranch Fire is now 95 percent contained. That fire burned 4,610 acres Wednesday. Crews were able to contain the fire by mid-afternoon Wednesday, but it reignited in the evening and proceeded to spread quickly.

TX 115 was closed southwest of Andrews for most of the day Wednesday because of the blaze. Other roads were also shut down in the area as crews battled the flames.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
