Winds will be much lighter today but red flag warnings continue across the entire Permian Basin. For a couple hours this afternoon winds will be gusty topping out near 30 mph helping temps hit the lower 90's. Even stronger winds likely Saturday with gusts up to 45 mph and highs in the middle 90's before a strong cold front sweeps through the state. Sunday will be 20 degrees cooler with winds gusting up to 60 mph, expect Red Flag Warnings all weekend. By early next week, calmer weather returns, high pressure takes over keeping our skies sunny and our temps in the 80's! Keep it tuned to Big2 News for all of your updates.
