Man Arrested For Assaulting Police Officer

MIDLAND -- A Midland man is behind bars, after he was accused of attacking a police officer.
Police were called out to an argument between David Vasquez Hernandez Jr. and his wife Tuesday night. When police tried to talk to Hernandez, 39, they say he got angry, and started fighting with him. Hernandez allegedly kicked one officer in the chest.
Eventually, police arrested Hernandez and charged him with assault of a police officer. He also is charged with domestic violence.
