MIDLAND -- The City of Midland is asking the community to stop feeding the ducks at the Midland pond.

The city says that doing so not only will hurt the ducks, but also pollute the water. They add that malnutriton, overcrowding, and diseases, are just some of the reasons why feeding the ducks isn't the best idea.

Instead, the city hopes residents will come out and enjoy the ponds natural beauty while obeying its environment.
