Good news before the bad news, sunny skies and a breezy west wind will jump highs above a 63 year old record this afternoon, 97 likely! Bad news, still no rain and any wind at all will spread grassfires so the National Weather Service has issued Red Flag Warnings area-wide again today. Expect these breezy and dry conditions to last all week! Pleae be responsible outdoors and take care of our environment. Do not burn anything, do not drive through tall grass, do not throw cigarattes out the window, becareful with your coals after grilling, the list goes on...

On the bright side, a cold front will swing through the Basin late Tuesday dropping temps into the 80's Wednesday but a quick rebound back to the 90's to finish off the workweek.
