Car Hits Pole In Midland, One Injured

MIDLAND -- A child was injured in a car crash Monday evening.
The crash happened around 6 PM Monday at Scharbauer Drive and Shell in Midland. A woman was driving west on Scharbauer when she lost control of her vehicle, went up onto the curb and smashed into a telephone pole.
A child in the vehicle ended up going to Midland Memorial Hospital for head injuries. No one else in the vehicle was badly hurt.
No other vehicles were involved in that crash.
