Semi Crashes Into SUV In Midland County

MIDLAND COUNTY -- A wreck caused quite a mess in Midland County Tuesday afternoon.

    The crash happened around 2:45 PM Tuesday on F.M. 1788 at TX 191. A semi truck was heading north when it smashed into a Chevy Tahoe that was turning left at the intersection. The Tahoe was heading southbound on F.M. 1788 before the turn. Department of Public Safety troopers say the driver didn't yield while turning onto TX 191.The driver of the Tahoe got a ticket for not yielding.

    Meanwhile, the crash caused a lot of damage. One person was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
