Wildfire In Eddy County Up To 39,000 Acres

QUEEN, NM -- Crews continue to fight a blaze in the mountains of Eddy County.

    The Last Chance Fire has now burned 39,000 acres west of Queen. A total of 6 structures outside of Queen have been threatened, but none have been lost so far. Helicopters and air attacks are fighting the blaze from above.

    The blaze is now 20 percent contained.
