ODESSA -- A Odessa man accused of killing an infant in 2008 has had his bond reduced.

John Dana Bailey's bond has been dropped from $5 million to $1.75 million. Prosecutors say Bailey, 41, flipped 5-week-old Dustyn Wright in a car seat in March 2008.

The baby's head was punctured in the incident. He was rushed to Medical Center Hospital and later flown to a hospital in El Paso, but he did not survive.

Bailey was arrested in December 2010.
