Local Hospital Wants You To Walk For Stroke Awareness

MIDLAND - May is Stroke Awareness Month. Midland Memorial Hospital is organizing a walk to raise awareness for the cause.

Almost 800,000 people are victims of stroke each year. Sherron Meeks, RN, of MMH shares other sobering stoke stats and stroke symptoms on Good Morning West Texas.

The Stoke Walk is scheduled for Saturday, May 21st. It will take place at the Duck Pond in Midland. Registration starts and 9AM. The walk begins at 9:30AM. The event is free and open to the public.
