After two days with upper 90's for highs, the triple digit heat makes a return to the forecast! 101 expected this afternoon which will be close to the record of 102 set back in  1990. As far as relief from the heat goes, you will be on your own to be sure you stay hydrated and safe in the heat. Nothing in the way of clouds, rain or even wind will help  cool us the next couple days. By the weekend a south breeze will increase elevating our fire dangers but temps will remain in the triple digits. Be sure to stay safe out there and keep an eye on pets, the elderly and young children. The sun's rays are most intense during late-June so sunburns and heat sickness are all too common right now!
