A slow moving upper level disturbance will likely spark storms Monday afternoon, the only areas with a chance of seeing these storms will be north of I-20. Any storms that do build will be short lived and will likely NOT be severe. Temps will still be hot despite this wave, 98 degrees again with even more heat the rest of the week. The dog days of summer have begun and afternoon highs will show this, 99 Tuesday, 100 Wednesday, 102 Thursday and 103 Friday! Be sure to stay hydrated and find some shade during all of your Independence Day Celebrations!
