Sunshine will stay bright and dominate our skies for the rest of the week. Temps will also stay hot as highs hold on the the triple digits, 102 today, 103 Wednesday and a bit colder to 100 Thursday through the weekend. The good news is that as August rolls on, temps will start to get a bit more comfortable as days get shorter and nights get longer.  I'll keep a close eye on the tropics as hurricane season starts to pick up these next couple weeks. Emily is expected to grow over the next couple days but hurricane status is unlikely at this time.
