A Howard County jury has found the owner of Alon USA guilty of negligence again. This is the second time Alon has been found guilty negligence since the 2008 Big Spring refinery explosion.

The Big Spring Herald reports the jury awarded local residents damages, but failed to find gross negligence. That basically means that the two families involved were awarded money to repair home and property damages, but not for things like pain and suffering.

Although this particular trial has come to an end, with more than 150 people named in the suit, there is still a long line of plaintiff's with lawsuits pending against Alon USA.
