The week is winding down and the temperatures are ramping up! Excessive heat warnings have been issued today and Saturday as temperatures are forecasted to hit dangerous levels. Highs will tough 103 today, 104 saturday and are showing no signs of letting up. Even more heat is likely next week as high pressure shifts westward and into the Permian Basin. No rain is expected over the weekend either so do everything you can to take care of your health. Extreme heat over several hours takes a toll on your body. We can't control the weather but we can control our actions during extreme weather. Be careful this weekend!
