Alison Ciaramitaro

By: Alison Ciaramitaro
Updated: May 24, 2012

Alison Ciaramitaro is excited to begin her broadcasting career in West Texas!  She comes to the Permian Basin after spending 4 years in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont at Lyndon State College.  A native of New England, Alison grew up on the Northshore of Boston.  Her love for weather began at a young age while spending most summers on the water, sailing or at the beach.  Winters were spent tracking the next big nor'easter and hoping for snow days.

Prior to coming to KMID, Alison was a meteorologist for LSC-TV News7, the college's Emmy Award Winning station.  Although a college station, it was the main news source for the surrounding community.  She also interned at WCVB-TV in Boston with the chief meteorologist.

While not forecasting or reporting for Big 2 you can find Alison enjoying the outdoors or playing volleyball.  She also loves to root for all of her Boston sports teams.

You can send Alison an email at aciaramitaro@kmid.tv.
