A stalled out weak front near Lubbock will get pushed a bit further south throughout this afternoon bringing changes to the forecast. Before it makes it to the Permian Basin, today will be another hot one with heat advisories in effect until 10pm this evening as temps top out in the triple digits for the 51st time this year! Tomorrow will start our changing weather pattern as that cold front approaches our northern counties. The northern Permian Basin has the potential to see a few storms Thursday afternoon and evening but temps will remain hot and in the triple digits. By Friday the rain should move to the east but temps will remain a bit cooelr. Friday look for highs near 100 and middle to upper 90's all weekend!
