Mycah Glover joined the KMID news team in September 2006.

A West Texas native, she moved to Dallas after graduating high school to pursue her dream of being in broadcast news. She got her start while attending college at Southern Methodist University where she earned her bachelor's degree in Convergence Journalism with an emphasis in Broadcast. While at SMU, Mycah interned at Fox 4 News in Dallas, and also reported, anchored and produced for SMU TV. In addition, she wrote and edited for The Rotunda Yearbook and The Daily Campus newspaper, where she was awarded Best News Feature by Texas Intercollegiate Press Association. She was also an SMU Presidential Scholar and a member of the Beta Sigma chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta.

"I was born and raised in Kermit, so after living in Dallas for several years, it felt good to get back home." She and her husband, Matthew Glover,  live in Midland.  In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her friends, family, and her two dogs, Mia and Milo.

Mycah started her Big 2 News career in 2006 as 5pm and 10pm anchor. A few years later, she began her weekly segment, the Big 2 Energy Report. In 2011, she decided to devote all of her time and energy to her Energy Report. "The energy industry is the pulse of the Permian Basin. Without it, we wouldn't be here. Getting to learn more about it and meet all of the people that keep this industry going is so exciting and fascinating.  From covering current industry events to profiling some of industries most influential wildcatters to teaching my audience how to drill and frac a well, each of my reports is something that will educate my audience. That's why I love my job!"
