On September 6th 1973 the Midland Int'l Airport hit 56 degrees and set a new record. This morning we hit 51 degrees and set a new record just one week after we set consecutive high temp records of 106 degrees! Enjoy this break from our oppressive summer heat because it is just that, a break. Highs will stay near 90 all week other than a slight cool down Thursday and Friday with breezy north winds while mornings stay near 60. By the end of the weekend look for a quick return to the summer conditions we are used to, middle to upper 90's by the middle of next week!
