Truck Crashes into Building, Kills One

ODESSA - A Lamesa man is dead after crashing a pick-up truck into a building.

Odessa Police say the accident happened just after 2 AM Thursday.

Officers say Pete Alvarado Jr., 22, of Lamesa died in the crash.

Police say he was headed West on 42nd, when he somehow veered off the road, and smashed into the North wall of the Atrium building at Memorial Gardens Park.

Alvarado was the only one in the vehicle. He died on the scene.

Police are still investigating the cause of this crash.
