Despite a major storm system spinning over the great lakes pulling cold Canadian air south, the Texas heat stays strong! Another well above normal afternoon is likely today as we soar to 96. Staying hot as 90's last all week until Friday when a rush of cooler air sinks into the Permian Basin, 80's likely Friday. The only speed bump in the work week will be Wednesday with a chance for an isolated storm, most of West Texas will stay dry though.
