Over the next 48 hours we could see everything from record high temps, winds gusting 40 mph to the extreme opposite with record cold temps and calm wind. A cold front moving south toward the Permian Basin will ramp up the winds this afternoon. West winds gusting to 40 mph will dry us out as temps soar into the middle 90's! Tonight the cold front drops south and changes everything. Winds will shift out of the north, still gusting to 40 mph, and temps will plummet. High temps Tuesday will only be near 70 degrees followed by the coldest m overnight temps we've had this season, some of us will see 30's! The good news is that thing settle down and level off by Thursday, temps will linger near 80 degrees through the weekend.
