New Vaccination Law for College Students

TEXAS-- Texas passed a new law requiring college students to get vaccinations before attending classes.
Meningitis has created huge problems on college campuses throughout the country causing serious illness and in some cases death.There's 3,000 cases a year and 150 of those are at colleges and universities.
Now in the State of Texas a new law requires all college students under the age of thirty to get a meningitis shot. The law becomes effective for the upcoming spring semester. This could prevent deadly outbreaks for Texas schools like Midland College.
High school students who are dual enrolled at Midland College must all have the vaccine before attending classes on the school's campus.
