High pressure has settled right on top of the Permian Basin so we can look for a generally calm afternoon. Winds will stay light and gradually shift from the north to the south throughout the day as temps struggle to warm into the 70's. We can expect 71 degrees this afternoon for highs and a significant warm-up Thursday. Winds will pick up a bit out of the south and lower 80's will finish out the work week under a sunny sky. A few clouds will be here for the weekend but temps will stay warm and in the 80' till early next week.
