Signs Welcome Home Troops

Austin -- A Texas based sign company makes Welcome Home signs for troops.

Buildasign.com came up with the idea of making Welcome Home signs for troops three years ago. Their signs, minus the cost of shipping, are free to the soldiers' families.

The Austin based company came up with the idea to giveaway 10,000 signs for troops. Thinking they would fulfill the giveaway over a few years, the company's promotion spread virally on the internet and military spouses and organizations getting a hold of it and 10,000 orders filled up in just three weeks.

They had to buy a bigger printer to keep up with the demand and still have their hands full filling about 200 orders a day just for troops friends and families.

Customers can add their own message, pictures and backgrounds to the signs. The company is well aware business will likely pick up in the next couple months after President Obama announced all U.S. troops will be home for the holidays.
