MIDLAND- Charged with intoxication assault; a late night crash severely injures a motorcycle driver.

Midland police responded to the intersection of Eisenhower and Wall Sunday night after reports of a car versus motorcycle accident. Police say, a jeep traveling northbound on Eisenhower ran a red light and collided with a motorcycle traveling westbound on Wall street.

The driver of the motorcycle was taken to the hospital with severe injuries, but is said to be okay.

The driver of the jeep, Jared cook, was arrested for intoxication assault.
